These Terms govern your use of the Tidy iPhone app (“the app”), developed by Vladyslav Prykhodko (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (the “Usage Rules”). This license does not transfer ownership of the app to you.
2. What the app does
Tidy helps you find and remove photos and videos you may no longer need, to recover storage space. All analysis happens on your device. You are in control of every deletion.
3. Deletions are your responsibility
Tidy suggests items to remove, but you choose what to delete and confirm each action. Deletions use Apple’s standard Photos deletion: removed items go to Recently Deleted, where they remain recoverable for 30 days before the system removes them permanently.
We are not responsible for any loss of photos, videos, or data resulting from your use of the app. Keep your own backups (for example, iCloud Photos or another backup) before deleting. Size and “space recoverable” figures are estimates and may differ from the exact bytes the system reclaims.
4. Purchases
Tidy may offer a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks additional features. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple’s refund policy. A purchase can be restored on your devices using the same Apple ID via Restore Purchase.
5. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect every removable item or never flag one you want to keep.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
7. Apple
Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, where applicable; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is always posted at this URL, with the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
