Saylen has a free tier, an optional auto-renewable Pro subscription, and an optional one-time Lifetime unlock. This page explains exactly how they work. The same information is shown in the app before you buy.

Free

Every language, with up to 5 hours of transcription each month, plus free plain-text export. No payment and no account.

Pro (auto-renewable subscription)

Pro removes the monthly hour limit and unlocks premium export formats (SRT, VTT, PDF, Word, Markdown).

  • Monthly — $4.99 per month
  • Yearly — $39.99 per year

Prices are in US dollars. Your local price is shown in the App Store before you confirm, and may differ by region and over time.

Auto-renewal — how it works

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the same price each period unless you cancel.
  • Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • To cancel, turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Managing or cancelling

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. Go to Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions (or the App Store ▸ your account ▸ Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. There is no partial refund for the current period, except where the law requires one — refunds are handled by Apple.

Lifetime (one-time purchase)

A single payment of $89.99 unlocks the same features as Pro, permanently, tied to your Apple ID. It is not a subscription — nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. You can restore it on another device with Restore Purchases.
