Does it work offline?

Yes, completely. Transcription runs on your iPhone, so you can keep airplane mode on the whole time. Nothing is uploaded.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for and no login.

Where are my recordings stored?

On your device. Your audio and transcripts stay on the iPhone and are never sent to a server. See the privacy policy.

What files can I import?

Most common audio and video formats, plus recordings you make inside the app.

What languages are supported?

Around 99. Saylen can detect the language automatically, or you can pick it yourself before you start.

What’s the difference between Free and Pro?

Hours, not quality. Free covers every language with 5 hours each month. Pro adds unlimited hours and the premium export formats (SRT, VTT, PDF, Word, Markdown). The transcript itself is identical on both.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Open Saylen, go to the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the current period ends. More detail is on the subscription page.
